PokerOK has announced the dates and published the WSOP online schedule. The series starts on August 20th and runs until October 2nd. True to tradition, the festival schedule includes 33 gold bracelets and hundreds of side events.
The online version of WSOP Online has a few variations, but this year features continental freerolls with prize pools ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 and tickets to the World Series of Poker in the Bahamas.
PokerOK is once again turning to bold guarantees – the Main Event will cost $5,000 with a prize pool of $2,500,000. With such parameters, the room managed to set the record for the largest bankroll in the history of online poker.
However, the fun and massive event did not end there. Some more attractive tournaments are on the schedule:
The festival guarantee total has not been announced, but at least $70,000,000 is available for bracelet events only.
An interesting novelty awaits players in the upcoming series – Continental Freerolls. These are special free events where you can win $10,000 to $100,000 in cash and tickets to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.
Freerolls are divided between players from four regions: Americas, Europe, Mediterranean and Asia Pacific. Here’s how they work:
Each “bracelet” tournament has a different freeroll. Once a winner is determined, all other event participants in their region will be automatically registered for the freeroll.
Additionally, each location has a specific leaderboard. At the end of the series, each table winner will receive a $35,000 VIP package to use within WSOP Paradise. This includes a $25,000 entry fee to GGMillions Live and $10,000 in accommodation and fees.
